Uniekaas® Red Wax Gouda Pecan Biscuits
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. of baking powder
1/2 tsp. of salt
1/2 tsp. of cayenne pepper
1/2 cup of butter, cut into tbsp.
3/4 cup of milk
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
3 1/2 oz. of grated Uniekaas® Red Wax Gouda

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cayenne. In a food processor or bowl, cut butter in until crumbly. Add milk, Uniekaas® Red Wax Gouda, pecans and combine just until moistened. Knead gently or use food processor, then shape into a ball. Roll out onto floured surface to about 3/4" thickness. Use a 3" biscuit cutter which has been dipped in flour, to cut biscuits. Place them 1" apart on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Yields 12-14 Biscuits
