Sweet Baked Hollandse Gouda
8 oz. Uniekaas® Hollandse Gouda Classic 12 Months (wheel preferably)
1 8 oz. can crescent rolls
or 1 large sheet of frozen puff pastry dough, thawed
1/2 - 3/4 cup Strawberry or Raspberry Jam
3 tbsp. walnuts
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of maple syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using a non-stick baking sheet, roll out the puff pastry or the crescent rolls flat. Place the Hollandse Gouda wheel (or large wedge) on top. Spread the jam on the gouda so it's completely covered, then fold dough over top. Remove the excess dough if it piles on top. Pour maple syrup over and sprinkle brown sugar and walnuts on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
