Caramelized Onion & Parrano Originale® Crostini
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Butter
1 1/2 Lbs. Large Spanish Onions, Thinly Sliced
2 Tsp. Fresh Thyme Chopped
2 Cups Grated Parrano Originale®
Fresh Pepper to Taste
1 Baguette Sliced Into At Least 24 Pieces

Add butter and olive oil to a large saucepan. Add onions, stir to combine then cover pan. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally. When onions have wilted, add thyme and pepper. Stir to combine and continue to cook covered, stirring occasionally until onions are golden brown. Remove and place in bowl. Add grated Parrano Originale® and stir to combine. Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange the baguette pieces on a cookie sheet and divide the onion-cheese mixture on bread. Bake for about 8 minutes until the crostini are golden brown.

Serves 6-8 as an appetizer
